Eating habits of Havanese dog breed

Hi everyone, I Trust you are well in these pandemic times.

The world has changed a lot in these pandemic times.

Havanese dogs are the national dog of Cuba. The Havanese dog breed has won many admirers with their long, silky hair, expressive eyes, and cuddly size.  Its height is a minimum of 8.5 inches to a maximum of 11.5 inches. Its life expectancy is 14-16 years.

Today I will tell you the Eating Habits of a Havanese dog.

Generally, a puppy Havanese must be fed more than an adult Havanese. When the puppies reach adulthood, their meals should reduce to 3 times a day which also stops their increase in weight.

What to Feed a Havanese?

Your Havanese has tons of options when it comes to feeding him or her. If your dog has health issues, your vet might recommend that he or she eat a special diet. If your budget doesn’t allow for more expensive food, your dog can eat cheap food. There is no real ‘special’ diet for Havanese, though they do not tend to eat nearly as much as larger dogs. They’re smaller eaters, and your vet can clarify this information for you when you ask about it.

What Not to Feed a Havanese

According to ASPCA, there are so many dog foods that are too dangerous for your dog. Make sure that your dog never eats chocolate, coffee, caffeinated beverages, or alcohol. These items contain ingredients that could cause a myriad of health issues in your dog, including some severe issues which might cause your dog's death. If your dog accidentally consumes any of the things mentioned above, your dog begins vomiting, experiencing diarrhea, and becoming unable to breathe properly. If he or she consumes any of the items, you must take him to a vet immediately.

I hope you got the information about the eating habits of Havanese, what they should eat, and what not to eat.
