Happiness is one of the most important things in human life. COVID-19 has spread in India and daily, more than 90,000 people test COVID-19 positive. As the close ones of someone have been tested COVID-19 positive, people become sad.
Today I will tell you about how to become happy and what are its benefits.
So, to become happy, we have to do the following things.
Smiling is one of the ways to become happy. While smiling 10 muscles of our face work and when we make a frown face, we use 12 muscles of our face works, so we should smile always. We smile because we’re happy, and smiling causes the brain to release dopamine, which makes us happier. If you feel low, smile, and see what happens.
2. Get Enough Sleep
Sleep plays a vital role in making us HAPPY. Everyone should get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep.
To build a better sleep routine, follow the steps given below:-
a) Write how many hours of sleep you get each night and how rested you feel. After a week, you will start feeling happier than the last week.
b) Sleep and wake up at the same time every day.
c) Keep your bedroom dark, cool, and quiet.
d) Try to take a nap of 20 minutes.
3. Give yourself a confidence boost.
Your confidence gives makes you believe that you can do anything. Confidence is the best way to make you happy. Confidence Get a quick win, and you'll be more confident that you really can change your life.
4. Spend More Time With Friends/Family
Staying in touch with friends and family is one of the best things in life. Most of the people become happy when they talk or remember their friends or family members. We are happy when we have family, we are happy when we have friends and almost all the other things we think make us happy are just ways of getting more family and friends.
5. Meditate as much as you can
Meditation is often touted as an important habit for improving focus, clarity, and attention span, as well as helping to keep you calm. Meditation clears your mind and calms you down, it's been often proven to be the single most effective way to live a happier life. The fact that we can alter our brain structure through mediation is most surprising to me and somewhat reassuring that however we feel and think today isn't permanent.
Exercise releases endorphins, which can help create a state of euphoria. Research shows that a 15-minute jog can help reduce depression. Spending time exercising can not only improve heart health but also mental health, happiness, and well-being.
7. Stop comparing
Comparing should not be done if you want to become happy. We compare our finances, our body type, our vacations, our talents, our house size, or our shoe size, there are no winners in the game of comparison.
